Colin is our oldest son, born 3-Apr-1988. A (mostly, when he bothers) straight A student he is also a fair soccer player. Go, dude!
Colin's 10th birthday cake at school. (Right) The 4th grade boys indoor soccer team that Colin was on and I coached. Chris, Adam, myself, Ben, Timmy, Ryan, Fraser, Colin and Brandon. They won 8, lost 4 and drew 1, scoring 63 and giving away 35. Yep, the boys done good...
Our first Halloween in Lake Oswego. We spent our first Halloween in the US sat in Chicago O'Hare airport waiting for a flight to Portland. The kids all carved pumpkins, and Colin pinched my one to paint at school. Sheesh, kids!
Colin played the 1999 Fall season with Lake Oswego Soccer Club Wanderers, the 'C' team. Given some of the players that they pulled into the 'B' team I felt he should be playing there, but they seemed to prefer size over any demonstration of skill. He kinda suits blue, don't you think? Quite a few of these lads were on my indoor team above, and also on the Rec+ team I coached for a season. Ryan (front row next to Colin) is the son of our good friends, the Bostons. |

The Wanderers entered a few tournaments during the summer. Their best success come in the Portland Cup where they won second place, losing 1-0 in the final. Here Colin receives his medal from Scott Martin, the coach. |

The one on the left is the school photo from October 1999. The one on the right is his 13th birthday. Also in the picture are Ryan and Matt Boston (front and back right, respectively) and hiding at the back is Nick Ross (who lives just round the corner from us). (Yes, I know the birthday photo is chronologically out of place, but that's where it's going...) |

Colin and his current team, Westside Metros Phantoms. A really good bunch of guys, and a not half bad team to boot. They came top of Classic 1 division in Fall 2000, not losing a single game. |
