Catriona's first communion was on 23-May-98, at Our Lady of the Lake, Lake Oswego, OR. Father Rock Sassano presided over the ceremonies. |  |

After the ceremony we went back to the apartment where we had a meal with our good friends David and Mitzi Keating and their two boys Ryan and Danny. A good evening was had by all. |  |

This was the first attempt to get a picture of Catriona in her Brownie vest. Guess who wanted to get in on the act. Take 2 was more successful. |  |

For her birthday Catriona wanted a pinata (pretend there's a ~ over the 'n'). This is a Mexican thing, which is a sort of cardboard animal which you stuff with candies, then each takes turns to batter it with a stick, whilst blindfolded. When the thing bursts and it's inards get spilled thare's a free-for-all. The kids enjoyed it... . |  |
