A quick update seeing as how I'm here anyway. The biggest news so far is that
I've been extended at City of Salem. Again! Will I ever get to join Oracle?
This is becoming a real pain, but it's got to be done. At least I'm getting
a 4k rise from Computer People, although the tight gits won't backdate it to
November when I should have got it. If it didn't suit me at the moment I'd tell
them to stuff it. They are really beginning to piss me off.
At least it means that I've got more flexibility for taking part in the registrations
for the Rec Fall soccer program next week. Plus I've got a by-laws meeting,
which I'll have to miss. As the Rec co-ordinator for this season, I think I
really should be there.
This past week was fairly busy, Tuesday especially so. Meetings from 1200 until
1700, then dive up the road to see Colin play soccer, while Cathy takes Graham
off for his soccer. Then take Colin across to drop him off with Cathy, watch
a bit of Graham playing, and then head off for the first inter-club meeting
for the Fall soccer program. Just to keep me off the streets...
That's enough for just now, I'll try to increase the frequency of these entries.
All I need to do iss find the time...
