The first full week of the school holidays, and everyone is still alive. I took Tuesday off to watch the Scotland match, and we all went up to the school after to have a kick about. Cath spent most of Thursday and Friday up at Mitzi's, so it gave the kids something to do...
The paperwork for the new house is all sorted and the deposit has been paid. It's just a case of getting organized for the move now.
The big news this week is that CPI called to give me the good news that I've been given a $6k increase. They're realy pleased with what I've been doing for them...
And that's really about it for this week. It's only been a few days since the last update, and not much more has happened.
We went down to Electronic Fry's yesterday to look at washing machines & tumble driers, as the house doesn't have one fitted. I bought a new mouse, Catriona bought the Spice Girls film, and the boys bought Sonic for the PC. We were looking at a new hard drive for the kids' PC, but we've decided that there's no point spending $200 for a new hard drive when for $700 you can get a whole new PC. Might stop some of the fighting...
I toyed with getting a scanner, or the kids a printer, or.... The list is endless. It'll all have to wait for the moment, we want to build up some savings, which we're managing to do so far.
